I am not gay so why would I want to date a man? Nor do I want to date someone with severe mental illness so why would I want to date a trans person? I am straight. I like women. Women have specific traits men don't have and can never have. Basic science. Also being a scientist I have done the blood samples for trans people before surprise surprise them being trans didn't magically change their DNA to that of a woman or a man. The trans woman still had the DNA of a man. And the trans man still had the DNA of a woman.

Yeah I'd get annoyed. A few months ago my friend asked me if I'd dump my boyfriend if he came out as trans. My reaction was a pretty firm 'no'. The friend then told me this spiel about how he'd 'learn to love them in their new body' and I just looked at him like 😐 seriously?
He tried to make me out to be a bad person because I don't want to date a woman. That's bloody annoying 💀 So yeah if a similar conversation occurred, I'd get just as pissed.

I find it rather stupid. It's the same as calling someone homophobic or hating a particular race for refusing to either a) not date them because you're not attracted to them, or b) not date them because you're not interested in that person. It's not like you express that you hate or refuse to interact with them, it's just you have preferences. Everyone has preferences. I've know bisexual women that will refuse to date men that have dated men and women, even though they did the same.

Would I care? A little because I don't like being put down so I'd ignore them or have them removed. I wouldn't care that much though because this hypothetical transgender person does not matter to me. I simply don't give their opinion any weight.
