Why does it seem like people are blaming some people for being single?

I feel like there's a new rant or hate going on where people look down on you like its your fault if you're single and can't find someone and blah blah blah but i took a year to focus on me since my last toxic relationship and it seems right away people assume if your single you're whoring around or it's a you problem which is fucked up but i just haven't found a decent guy and online dating is the worst since they only want hookups. I will get complimented at work and flirted with in public by guys but it doesn't go anywhere because they only really want sex or to see my body nothing more or less. Why put the blame on someone being single if people aren't valuing a real relationship like you?

I feel like their out to scare me and others or rain on my parade because apparently if your single still after a certain" age" they say its too late to get married or have kids. Which i want but i haven't found that guy.
