How to get over the stress of when your date won’t open your message in 24 hours?

I recently met a guy I like and he said he really liked me too. We also went on a date earlier this week and the day after, we he was sending me pics of himself getting vaccinated and making jokes about giving Covid to me. However since 2 days he has been less chatty I assume because he was working. He hasn’t opened the last message I sent yesterday so I’m worried he’s going to ghost. I also noticed he was on Instagram since he viewed my story. I’m hoping it’s because he doesn’t like to talk on his work days or he’s busy. I don’t know if he will respond soon or not. How would you get over the stress?

Don't have it. If it takes multiple days to reply, you are just a play thing. He got multiple women and you are not even the top one. Assuming there was something to reply too, otherwise you waiting for no reason really. It can easily take a week or more before a guy initiate a new conversation.

I don’t really think he’s with someone else. But still worries me that he got bored of the conversation or something. If he replies by tonight fine but otherwise it would suck

If you want fast steady conversion, call him instead of text him. Text has low prio in a guys life. It's like saying answer when you can.

No I’m really against texting and calling someone more than once just because they are not replying. I would rather suffer than look desperate. Maybe as you said he will just reply when he is free? I mean I hope

Send a text when you get the reply, call instead of texting back. That way there is a good chance he is free to talk. If he doesn't take calls frequently you need to just accept your not important and your unlikely to be alone. You are just one of several.

Ok so he actually replied. Exactly 24 hours after. He told me he’s quitting his job. Maybe that’s why he hasn’t been as engaged? Otherwise I was thinking I would never hear from him again

His job sucks really.. he worked for a cafe so I’m happy he did that tbh

Oh but it's still a paycheck. Still need a plan on what to do next. Otherwise he could as well kept collecting that paycheck.
