What do you want to learn about life in America? It is common for people to believe the grass is always greener elsewhere. No place is perfect. The streets aren't paved with gold, and there are just as many problems here as elsewhere. It's just a different spot on the map. We have extremists of all kinds along with crime. Life and money aren't easier here. You can be successful anywhere in the world. You can find beauty anywhere in the world. You can find happiness anywhere in the world. If you feel oppressed in one area of your country, there are always other areas you could relocate to. If you want to get to know Americans, join an international organization, but don't just focus on the Americans. Learn that people have similarities all over the world. The more we get to know different people, the more we discover how similar we all are.

You can ask question about America here on GAG; people from Egypt, Turkey and India do it all of the time. Even so, there is no real way to know how life is in America unless you spend time living here. Even then, this country is so large and diverse that you'll never see all of America or understand everything about it.

The best way to meet new people and make new friends is to actually travel there. I don't recommend online apps or forums.. Most people there aren't stable at all and will ghost you at first chance without any remorse.
Not to mention the creepy guys just looking for sex

There are some nice people on apps but mostly you will find people just looking for hookups and sex. You probably won't find what you are looking for on an app.

you would probably need to come here and go out to meet people. If you are a student it might be easier. So maybe come here and start taking some classes at a community college or trade school.
