My boyfriend has been asking me - even begging me - to let him shampoo my hair. He knows nothing about hairdressing and I fear that he will ruin my hair. I am proud of my hair and have spent much time and money on it. Is this request of his reasonable?

I’ve washed plenty girls hair, it’s not like they lose the power of speech when it’s happening.

you point out the shampoo to be used, the conditioner etc and how each is to be applied, how it is to be rinsed, the temperature of the water.

It’s just a basic check list for him to follow, it’s not hard.

he may have a fetish for washing your hair. your fear of him washing your hair makes me wonder what tge hell you use for shampoo or what kind of chemicals your hairdo is done with. also begs the question of how often you wash ypur hair if you are afraid that tge shampoo is going to mess it up.
