If he has said that he is your boyfriend, then I am sure you are his girlfriend… But go ahead and ask just for clarification and to see if y’all are on the same page.
It wouldn't hurt to clarify.
If he has already referred to himself as your boyfriend, pretty safe to assume you're his girlfriend. If he asks why or seems a little offput by it, you can say something along the lines of "I just wanted to make it official."
Or you can do what my first girlfriend did, and ask because she wanted to make sure before she updated her Facebook status...
There are better ways of going about it than merely coming out and asking are you his girlfriend.
Try this:-
"You know that thing you said the other day.. you know.. the bit about being my boyfriend. How did you feel when you said it? "
Natural progression of the conversation will take you where you need to be to find out if you're indeed his g/f.
