My boyfriend is 2 inches shorter than me. Is this noticeable to the public?

I don't know why but tall girls always appear much taller than they are and guys always appear shorter than their height - maybe bc a lot of guys lie about their real height I don't know lol

But whenever I see a couple where the girl is taller I always think they look hot together! My cousins all date girls taller than them so I guess I’m just used to seeing it

It's because women aren't usually tall and guys are "supposed" to always be tall. On top of women usually being slimmer than guys, thus appearing taller. Only skinny guys actually look as tall as their heights; any "average" build, muscular, or overweight guy under 6'1" is ALWAYS going to look short.

@MCheetah that’s true, especially with the thing about skinny guys always looking tall - their limbs somehow always look much more elongated. But I definitely wouldn’t consider any average guy under 6’1 short tho, it’s more like guys under 5’7 that I would consider look short

Depending on the angles, you two can appear to be the same height since you two are nearly close to the same height that small differences in shoes, angles, elevation, and more can make it seem difficult to tell one is obviously taller than I other.
