Are men smarter then women?

My boyfriend says men are better than any woman in anything.

The average intelligence is roughly the same.

However there are far far more men with low intelligence and high intelligence.

Women aren't as varied as men. they mostly fall in the center of the graph. Men are more likely to be ether very smart or very stupid. As the really lie IQ men are in institutions (as are some really smart men!!) My ex worked at a halfway home. It's mostly men with mental retardation in these institutions. With the occasional near genius..

I'm an Engineer who started programming at ten. I have nearly 1000 credit hours. I tutor mathematics.

There was this one guy I used to play chess with, (he always won) he also knew almost as much math as I do, played piano like a concerto, spoke 9 languages fluently.

He said he was a former spook (spy) who had been captured by Russia and tortured. No one believed him till one day he missed curfew (he was voluntary) . Then the men in suits arrived, lots of them even a helicopter!! They never found him that I know of.

This is not a team sport, and if your boyfriend thinks it is, I think I can at least embarrass him in this regard. I think I might stand a chance to beat you at arm-wrestling. I never accomplished things in the name of "men". I did it for "people". So I'm tired of men like your boyfriend sitting on his armchair saying men are better at this or that. What a bunch of armchair quarterbacks. He might have the potential to be great if he's not already but this isn't a team sport about men vs. women. This is a sport about elite individuals. And he's probably not one of them or else he wouldn't be spending all day saying his team is better than yours.

Apologies, I had a sort of egotistical streak there with my contributions to the industry. But a big problem I find beyond these men vs. women things are men including themselves. Men are talking these ways like they can take credit for the greatest minds, athletes, artists, musicians, etc of history while they sit on the couch talking shit to women. And the bigger problem I find just from my biased POV beyond talking shit to women is that they have nothing to show for how great men supposedly are beyond citing men other than themselves. So bluntly I think they should STFU or start trying to become a great man. Pick one.

@089Lexi I was so drunk and incoherent with this post. It's embarrassing! Well, I think attacking someone's character outright is quite rude but my basic thought, poorly articulated, is that whenever someone says this group is better than another group while including themselves in that group, it makes me question whether they have anything worth contributing other than boasting about belonging to this group.

It comes across to me like someone saying, "We invented cars," and I want to say, "No, we didn't." I didn't have any part in Henry Ford's invention of cars and neither did you. Simply having a penis shouldn't let me use "we" here.

... in a similar sense, I shouldn't say "we sometimes get really drunk and write insane posts." That's not a "we" thing. That's an "I" thing I need to work on.

Objectively, yes. Men are smarter than women by almost every metric.
Women have boobs though and the world simps to them, so nature balances things out.
And humans in general are dumber than pig sh*t, especially when in groups. So it doesn't really matter.
