Are men smarter than women?

Judging from what I hear about men building everything from buildings and infrastructure, are men smarter than women?

The tendency is actually for women to be smarter on average. Although the results vary. Plenty of results show men on top too. However, trending towards women being smarter more often.

Men dominate the extreme outliers. That is to say, the overwhelming majority of truly dumb and truly smart people tend to be men.

And so if you had a room of 200 people evenly split among sex, the women's total IQ would likely be a little higher. But the smartest person in the room would probably be one of the guys.

Ahhh... no I've met some smart women who design bridges, buildings, etc.., and some who help construct them.
