among my friends, i am the one that has a talent to miss signals. there are legends about my stupidity. for example:
i used to work as a teenager with a girl that was around my age and was living on my way to work. so i would driver her to and from work, during that time we would talk and most times she sayed, keep driving a bit more, its fun. one day i arrived early so she told me to come up and wait in the living room. then we chatted, during that time she asked me how many times i masturbate and told me how much she does and what makes her excited... fast forward till after our shift. we arrived at her home, and just kept talking for another 45 minutes in the car, and at some point when i was talking, she cut me off saying "you know you have nice skin" while rubbing my forearm. i said "thank you" and continued as if nothing happened... i feel sorry for her and how blind i was.
but since then i got just a tad bit better so most signals i notice should work on everyone. so things i noticed:
a girl just put her hand on my shoulder (leaning on me) and leaning forward just staring at my lips.
everyone going home and the girl says she will stay a bit more and immediately afterwards asked if i gonna stay as well.
placing a hand on my thigh.
there might be a few more that i can't remember or still deny that those were signals10 Reply

I take time getting to know person because I don´t fall in love quickly, I never fell head over heels in love.
I need at least a couple conversations to get to know if I´m interested in a woman or not.00 Reply
+1 yI usually get touchy. Not inappropriately, but I usually touch their arms, try and fix their hair, etc. Small things like that.
I’m not a touchy person to those I don’t know or like, so I seem kinda cold to people lol, but when I’m interested, I try to be more physical with them.93 Reply- +1 y
It’s very subtle sometimes but if you give a flirty smile and eyes, they’ll know you’re interested😁
- +1 y
We'll definitely know you are interested, I'm gonna keep an eye out for such kinda behaviour from now on, thanks for sharing 🙂
it's best to just ask directly if you have the courage too. lots of people aren't good at taking signals and signaling may just confuse both you and the other person more. being direct is best in my opinion.

+1 yFor me, I get a guy's attention (or attempt to) by spending time with him and showing him attention. Such as listening to him, hanging out with him, eating together... basically show him I'm interested in getting to know him better.
Of course even then that's not guaranteed to work. If he's not interested in me or wants anything more than a friendship, it's a moot point.
Yes, speaking from experience. I've done all that and then some, only for a guy to just want friendship. It happens.25 Reply- +1 y
I can see this working, but then that’s what seperates that whole approach of what’s the difference between a friend and someone interested because many women would do this but that’s only because they are being friendly, so if that happens to me that’s why I think of it as, they just wanting to be friends, so how will someone tell the distinction between both?

Well of course it's that simple you can apply that logic to everything, but obviously, a lot of people are in that situation for a reason, it can be difficult to distinguish someone being friendly and liking out and then asking usually makes it weird after if things did go the way you thought, and of course, it's about taking the risk but sometimes it can be better to try to mitigate it
+1 yBefore I was married I was pretty straight forward when getting a girls number I’d just introduce myself and say something like, so check this out I think you are like way hot you wanna hang out or whatever or whatever to be honest this was close to 35 years ago and I was a long haired tattooed surfer kid that was on my own at a pretty young age and wasn’t afraid to talk to girls I never really had a problem getting girls hell more than once me and some homeboys would be walking or hanging out on the strand (the beach) and some chicks would drive by at 10 mph and they’d cat call us and half ass duck or whatever and I’d just either get a phone number or usually just jump in man those were the good old days I got to know a lot of girls back before I got trapped I mean married. To answer your question I wasn’t looking to have a relationship just to have fun and I was straight up about my intentions from the beginning it was a different time back then

+1 yI once went up to someone I felt strongly about and asked if they were in a relationship. When told no then asked if I could kiss him. There was about ten or so hours in each others presence (unrelating) before that, but that was the random and magic moment. The look on his face was pretty priceless.

@GingerGuy lol That’s great. 😎 Speechlessness can be a fun thing.

my ex did it similarly, except for the kiss... but at the end of that party she did say "now you're mine..." lol

Anonymous(18-24)+1 yI literally just be myself and flirt. Now, that’s if im doing it for fun.
When it comes to a guy I’m actually attracted to and interested in I feel like I’m very obvious because even though I get really shy and sort of “freeze” whenever I come across them , I get really red and start laughing , my hands start shaking and I’m a whole mess lol and usually I’ll just look at him and I think he would for sure catch on. Lmao I’m sorry I’m no big help but 😅 LMAO that’s just how I am with guys I like. Now, if they approach me, then that’s a whole other story.20 Reply- 4.9K opinions shared on Dating topic.
+1 yFind reasons/excuses to talk to him.
Occasionally make eye contact.
Ask if he wants to go grab a cup of coffee or something from the cafe (although i dont drink coffee and hardly eat sweets)60 Reply
+1 yI laugh more easily at the jokes a guy makes when I'm interested in him. But not my normal laugh lmao I make sure it sounds cute and soft like a giggle, you'll see a difference from hearing me laugh at my friends' jokes and at my crush's jokes
I also smile more easily
Sometimes a guy I like may make me too shy though, so I usually avoid eye-contact because I'm nervous. I don't do this on purpose so it's not to let him know that I'm into him, it simply happens, but just so you know thay *some* girls do this.20 Reply
+1 yI like to be friends with the person i am interested in. I like to know them and work on out relationship as friends and whwn it gets well and most things seems working fine, i tell her how lovely all this time was we spent together. If she says yes, that is good. If she says (i need to think about it) i give her space. And if she says no, we atill friends.
20 Replymost gentlemen's methods of flirting nowadays are usually one of two: keeping their head glued to their phones like ostriches, staring at the sky, and occasionally looking at you once in a while with a neutral expression expecting that you'd wink and lick your lips to subtly hint your interest. the second method: yo baby, what's shaking?
22 Reply- +1 y
In some countries, looking at a woman for too long can lead to a fine or imprisonment... much safer to stare at the sky or keep a neutral expression. In some areas near me, a man can get arrested for approaching a woman...

+1 ySuch a good question, (sigh) it's hard, I mean obviously you could ask but it's not always a good time. I definitely am obvious though lol. I look more and try not to at the same time. I don't want to be rude but I'm interested so I'll be looking at your lips or tryna catch a peek at ur body tbh. Sometimes a wink or a cheeky smile that's about as far as I go, I rarely go for a touch or anything, either I'll ask or chicken out and better luck next time.😂

+1 yWell I apparently do nothing my boyfriend tells me. He didn't kiss me until 2 months into us starting to be interested in a more romantic sense and talking more (we had known each other for 2 years prior to that), because he was scared of me rejecting him😂, even when he was planning on doing it he still wasn't sure

+1 yI always have a question extending from this topic. What's the chance (based on your experience) of you successfully begin a relationship with the guy or girl you were interested from the street, work, client (not usually), high school, uni campus and attracted?
We human beings are beings who judge by visuals and the way other people portrayed themselves (30 seconds) as first impression before verbal communication. In theory, We can have a crush to anywho pretty much anytime anywhere.00 ReplyAsk them how I look when I try out a new makeup routine, hair, clothes etc. I would say I compliment them more, but I don't know since I try to compliment everyone a bunch, don’t know if it’s exclusive to them.
20 Reply16.6K opinions shared on Dating topic. I've always been very good at picking up on interest from women (or girls before I turned 18), but I usually just have a great, friendly convo, smile a lot, compliment her a bit and get her number (or more rarely, social media), then am sure to follow up.
00 Reply544 opinions shared on Dating topic. I'm a little iffy about the first move. SJW and Feminism hold me off. But I have gotten: "Maybe we can have coffee together some time soon". That is the equivalent of a Victorian girl dropping her hanky for me at a cotillion. It is a green light to pick it up and go ahead.

That's nice
I once gave a girl a bag of ginger cookies, she asked what that was, i answered “feeling”, some other day i would be doing random stuff like pulling her leg and saying “come play with me” while she sat on the sofa, i would also carry her backpack to her class for her.
Those memories kinda hunt me now and i wish i never interacted with girls, so im just gonna lock myself in my dark room as i have been for years now.11 Reply

The last time I was interested in a person they filed an ex parte personal protection order against me when I did nothing wrong. Accused me of being a stalker both in person and online so they went to two different County police departments. Also accused me of being a potential school shooter when I didn't and still don't even own any guns. I'm lucky to have gotten to the better lawyer in the area before she did and she even tried to hire mine when said lawyer was already working for me. So ever sense that happened, when I meet or see someone attractive I avoid them like liberal pussies avoid Normal people with a simple cough
