My boyfriend and his male friend have invited 2 girls over so they can cook them a 3 course meal, is this weird it feels very double date like to me?

So my boyfriend and his male friend have asked a couple of their female friends if they can cook them a 3 course meal. Now it seems all innocent I guess at face value but it doesn’t sit right with me. Like the idea of cooking an intimate 3 course meal like that gives off romantic connotations and it’s making me feel very uneasy. To me the fact that there’s 2 guys and 2 girls makes it feel very date like almost and I know if me and one of my female friends were asked if we wanted cooking for by a couple of male friends we’d be thinking we’re being hit on and the conversation would be along the lines of which guy is who’s date. I don’t know if I’m being over dramatic but it just feels very intimate, 3 course meals are something you do for your partner not a friend. Like why don’t they all go to the pub or out for a drink or something the whole cooking thing makes me feel weird.
