Going on a third date after an awkward second date?

So I met this girl on Tinder. We chatted for a while, and she seemed really cool, we shared a lot of interests. I had several friends who knew saying that we'd be good together. yada yada.

We went on a date - had a casual movie night (not netflix and chill). We marathoned a few movies, made out a bit, it was fun. It was awkward though because I was thinking about a girl I dated over the summer for a lot of it (which made it awkward for me).

We did another casual date, but it was also kind of awkward. We didn't talk a lot and there were a bunch of awkward silence. I felt like I was forcing myself to talk at times - I'm not good at initiating conversation. But I could also tell that she was extremely tired (which she told me too), so I decided to accept that as a reason why. It was a lot more awkward, in that sense, than the first time we saw each other.

So, we had planning to go on another date (i did the second idea because there was a long space of time in between what we we're going to do). Is it worth still trying it?
