I broke up with my girlfriend because she lied about cashapping me money for gifts, was I right to do it?

My girlfriend ( now ex ) and I were together for a year. All this lying problem began last year, over mailing me gifts abroad, since I was out of town for a couple of months. She couldn’t send me anything due to lack of money, well that’s what she said. I still bring it up to her so she can change and I made a promise to her if she gives me money everything will go back to normal.
Bella only says I only care about money, and gifts, but it’s not true she plays with my emotions. She also brings up the time i flirted with a girl on instagram and i defend her cause she didn’t do nothing to Bella.
A day ago I got mad at Bella because she didn’t give me money, she told me that my love for her was never both sides since I compared her, and told her how she was like my exes, so I broke up with her because my love was never thought of and due to her lying about money. I don’t know if it was right to end things over money that she didn’t give me. Was I right
