Bonus question what game are you into playing rn?
733 opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic. I'm playing Hades 2 right now and I wanna play Ghost of Tsushima next
Top games for me:
Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines
Cyberpunk 2077
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (I played this on psp I think for over 300 hours I bought the new one too but I haven't gotten into it. I've played maybe 15 hours but there's too much other stuff going on so I have to put the old game on the list)
The Last of Us
I like memorable worlds and stories a lot but there's also a lot of gameplay focused games I play and like but it's harder for them to be the best game ever. Like TFT is a fun challenge and it's well made but it's a puzzle to solve in the end with some luck involved. It's not gonna blow our mind unless it's the first game you play or so.

+1 yTwo of them you have probably not heard of. Number one is Timesplitters, the first person shooter on PS2. It was very similar to Medal of Honour and Call of Duty. The second one is Rise of Nations, a war game similar to Age of Empires. The last one is Super Mariokart on Super Nintendo which im sure everyone has heard of.
The game im into right now is Risk on PS1 which is based on the board game.

LOL I am basically bias since I mainly only play Nintendo titles but I never really loved any other games. Though I did love Super Nintendo's Mario World and Mario All stars with all the Mario games on it. Shout out to the Wii U for Splatoon 1 and Arms, those were great games lol.
I am playing Splatoon 3 and Tears of the kingdom rn.30 Reply

+1 yIt's hard to choose, but here are the first three that came to mind: Video games:
Legend of Zelda. I would have to say one of the old ones... the design of Links Awakening reboot for Switch as sort of this cute "toy" like design...
Mario and the Six Golden Coins. The design was great, and it was fun to play.
Halo; playing Capture the Flag / Slayer etc. Some of the areas in 2 were better, but I think the weapons were a bit better in the first; and I loved the bazooka and the sticky grenades. Seemed like they worked better in the first one.
________
Epic Mickey was a pretty good one.
Wii plane - Dogfighting - where you pop the balloons on the other person's plane - got a lot of play with the nephews, so that's one for the memories. It was clean, not too grown up, not violent... The baby ALWAYS wanted to play, so I'd fake hook up a controller, and I'd play the older kid, and the toddler thought he was playing his brother; and it kept them out of my parents (and their parent's) hair for a while. (He'd yell Hiiiiii-yaaa! every time he (I) got his brother). I don't think he ever caught on that he wasn't playing.
SW" Battlefront 2 was good, but I didn't get a lot of play from it because some people in the family hogged the TV constantly (they'd watch 16 hours a day). I liked you'd sort of be in the big battles from the movies; like right after the Battle of Endor, etc.
______
Right now: I am playing Lego Undercover, going back on occasion to the rebooted Ghostbusters game, and getting some play out of You Don't Know Jack - games with a decent single player option. My brain isn't handling flashes and quick cuts any more, so I have to be very choosy about what games I watch/play. Periodically, Bioshock, and Portal.
________
Board and card games:
Dixit
Sequence
Spyfall
Cards against Humanity (I have the family friendly version) / Red Flags.
I'm probably one of the few who love Monopoly, but I usually end up doing a computer version so I can play, because no one ever seems to want to play me.

+1 yMinecraft is my unbeaten favourite. cause there's no other game i've regularly turned back to for over 10 years and there's so many mods that make it an entirely different game to have fun with all over.
world of warcraft. not anymore but i'd say from like 2005-2010 right before they introduced the first mount you could buy for real cash, it was actually really good.
the pokemo games overall. even though i don't play it anymore simply cause i don't own the platforms the games are released on anymore. the palworld hype showed how much the principle is still appreciated. nintendo just hates pc users.00 Reply - 547 opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic.
+1 ySkyrim- it was my first proper rpg game and it took me to another world.
Dead Space- it was my first horror game and one of the few horrors game that actually scared me.
Infamous 1 and 2 because even tho it sold well enough to receive 3 main line games (if you consider 2nd son as the third game) I still feel like it's underrated.
20 Reply 403 opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic. 1. The Wolf Among Us

I like games with a story and if choices make any difference or ones where there is voice acting for characters 😂

Technically speaking, interactive visual novels and interactive movies are not games, but rather choose your own adventure stories.

Unreal Tournament 2004
Half Life
The Command and Conquer games from Tiberian Dawn (1995) up to Generals Zero Hour (2003)
Let's also list Heroes 3 of Might and Magic. It deserves a place here.

+1 yI would never be able to pick a top 3, there are too many that I really like, everytime I try to make a list it ends up super long. Most of them are older games or newer games that play like older games though.
