Had sex on the second date, got asked on a third date and now it’s the day after and I haven’t heard from him at all?

First date was awesome we didn’t want to go home. He messaged and called me like crazy all week and asked me to hang out even though I couldn’t. We went on a second date and the connection was awesome we had a great time and we made the date last for hours. Went back to his placed and talked some more until one thing lead to another and we hooked up. I left the next day and he kept in contact. We went on a walk yesterday and I brought up how I didn’t want it to be awkward now that we have hooked up and I asked what he was looking for. He had asked me prior but we got off topic. I told him I wasn’t looking for an immediate serious relationship but something where we went slowly to get to know one another and work to that. I said I wasn’t interested in casually dating and that I focused my attention on one person at a time so I could really get a chance to know them if I was interested. He fully agreed said he was also looking for the slow get to know into something and was also not into dating multiple people. He said he was on the same page. We agreed to do something this week and he even texted me after to thank me for the date and chit chat. Today rolls around and he hasn’t said a word to me, which is out of character. Why say you want what I do if you’re going to just ignore me? You had an out when I had a chat with you. I told you I’d rather not waste each others time and it would be all good we could be friends? Not sure if I am over reacting. We’re both in our 30s so I don’t like to play games.
