Haven’t heard from him since our first date?

Normally I wouldn’t overthink this. But I was actually interested in the guy and I thought our first date went well.
We made out and he told me i was really pretty. We didn’t talk about seeing each other again but i told him I’d like to. I haven’t heard from him since and learning from past experience is that “if they wanted to they would” and there’s my answer there. or is it in my ballpark to ask him to hang out? what do you guys think?

I'd contact him and see how he's doing. If you get a positive reaction, propose a specific second date, noyt something vague about seeing each other again sometime.
