Do women actually use tinder to date?

I’m a guy and I’ve been on tinder for a while now and it just seems like most the women are there for an ego boost. I mean I’ve had a couple of women approach me in person so I don’t just do online dating and I have over a 100 matches on tinder. Some message me first but it just seems like they only want small talk and it leads to nothing. I’ve had the opportunity to link up with a few but they kinda catfished me so it didn’t lead to anything. At this point I’m just going to consider meeting women in person , fuck it!

I don’t suggest actually going on there to date. Try other dating apps because tinder is often used for hookups

lol even i used tinder till last year. A lot of guys catfished me too and turned out to be creepy wierdos. there are loads of catfishers on dating apps like tinder so i guess you should probably not to use it for dating.
also like @WhatTheHeckkkk said its often used for hookups so try other dating apps/offline.

If living in a major I’d say no.
if living somewhere more random and it’s harder to meet people then I’d say more likely using it for dating purposes.
