What's your ideal age range when it comes to dating people?

Between 8-20 years younger.

I discovered a while ago I strongly prefer younger men over men my age or older, so I now pretty much exclusively date in that range. Men my age/older can't keep up with me, aren't interested in having the level of adventure I want, are often intimidated by my professional/financial success, are more closed minded about women not taking on certain traditional gender roles, have more baggage, don't have sexy of bodies (or much muscle), and don't have as strong of a sex drive/recover as quickly. By contrast younger men are much more able to keep up with me, are much more interested in adventure, aren't intimidated by my professional/financial success, are more open minded about women and gender roles, have less baggage/are more optimistic, have more muscular/sexy bodies (yes, I am a bit vain that way), have a sex drive that matches mine better, and can recover faster/go more rounds.
Also, when you get to my age most of the great options are taken. There's a lot more great options of younger men than older men.

For me it’s always being having something in common, compatibility and importantly an emotional connection with.

From when I was a teen going out in hard to judge a persons age when they are togged up, make up etc.

You can easily bang 10 years up or down.

Currently dating younger but have dated older.

i can understand some age ranges, however some put plus or minus 1 -2 years, how do you check that without actually asking.

The important thing is you are dating a person not their age, being aware if someone is dating your age rather than you.

For me, it's 21-26. Now, am I attracted to, and would technically take out a girl 18-20, probably, but there's definitely a disconnect when it comes to communication, jargon, etc. (I don't agree that "maturity" is highly correlated to someones age within this broad age range).

I tend to date towards the lower end of that spectrum (21-26) because I appreciate girls with lower body counts and less emotional baggage from failed relationships.

I'm a month away from being 64. I am not or ever will be in an exclusive relationship. I have gone out with females as young as 21 and as old as 70. However, I have more fun with and am way more comfortable being around females in the 45-65 range. I do have several friends with benefits that are 30 somethings!

One thing I've noticed since being on here is there are a lot of age questions. I'm not allowed to date but is their age something I should know before I know there name? What if I find a guy that I have a lot in common with and find out his age later?

18-21 is the only acceptable age range I’ll seriously date tbh. I’ve never had a serious relationship and I think its gross and weird to start my first one with a girl over 21 unless they’re like a virgin or something then they can have a bit of leeway.

23 to 30 is the ideal age range for women I want to date. I'll go as low as 20, but I feel uneasy dating someone that young. And I'll go as high as my own age, which is technically 35 (although I'm more like 24 at heart).
