What should I say when a guy canceled last minute?

This guy and I was supposed to meet for our second date last night for drinks.
I went to the bar in the same area that we were suppose to meet with a group of friends 2 hours earlier to spend time with them before the date. Him & I were suppose to meet @9pm, around 8:45pm I texted him and told him i’m omw to the location and he sent me a text apologized that he was so busy with school work that it slipped his mind and ask to reschedule. So I went out with my friends and enjoyed our night instead. I haven’t responded to him since & I don’t know what to say. I’m all about giving second chance but I’m not sure what to say without sounding pissed. Please help.

Just act mature, if he had legit reason it is fine. And ofc you will feel pissed but again if he had good reason and you are into this guy, give it another chance.
Look on bright side, like you said, you had good night, hanging out with friends so everything is cool. But give him notice through joke that you don't like that cancelling in last minute :D

If it was a genuine cancellation like illness or work than I'd arrange another date. If was to go on a date with someone else id move on
