What should I do if a guy cancels last minute date?

Okay so I was supposed to go out on this date with this guys yesterday we had plans at 630

and he calls me in am and I ask him if we are still going out in the the evening and he says I don't know because I get paid tmw and I lost my ID and I asked him if next week is better. He said no today.

So 730 rolls around I’m ready and he says he just got off this “going to the bank” (bank is closed) I see the message and we don’t talk for the rest of the night. then he messages me this am saying

“I want to see you today but I know that’s not possible “

Is that a good reason to cutt him off? Who was in the wrong here? Am I over reacting but I did at least want an apology.

I wouldn't do anything anymore with someone who did that to me. I'd rather just be told some other time rather than get me all made up to go just to be stood up.
