All of my long term relationships have had at least a 10 yr age gap. My ex fiance met me when I was 24 and he was 34. 6 years together. Last relationship I was 31 and he was 41. However age gaps like 21 and 31 don't really work out because some people in their early 30s are looking for a family life and people turning 21 are about the party life/haven't found themselves yet. Age gaps are healthy as long as you are happy, who else matters.

Not sure why people keep asking these questions. Both involved are fully grown adults. Do they both like each other and want to be together? If yes, then what exactly is not ok about it?
If you’re gonna fixate on the number the person is instead of focusing on them as a person, then I don’t see that working out too well.

Because a lot of people think a 10 year age gap is terrible. I personally don't think there's anything wrong with 10 years, anything beyond that is too much. But even if the gap is only 7 or 8 years, some people act like that's a big deal. It just got me wondering.
