I had a couple.. the biggest was this very cute guy, with broad shoulders and a slight lisp. I had i. a. German classes with him, and he was by far the best and most active learner of all the boys (who were mostly joking around), and I loved that. His German was also cute and sexy. I always hoped he would sit next to me, and a couple of times he coincidentally did <3.
I even wrote a silly poem about the crush.. Starting with: 'There's a guy inside my head, who I cannot forget' and 'ends with 'all I want is to forget, this guy inside my head ' filled with a bunch of very silly rhymes in four verses, including about the one time he held my hand when we were dancing in gym class xD
Once one of his friends was drawing a heart with me and my crush's name inside.. and then my crush took it and crossed out his name :P.. they also did this with other girls and guys in the class, so I am not sure if anyone really caught that I fancied him.

Then there was a guy in my own class.. I confessed to my best friend in class, and she was determined that we should get to know each other better. Ended up with her liking him too, I gave up and let her to it, and they eventually went on to be together for 7 years :D. So yeah, he was also told it kinda started with my crush on him.

I developed a crush on a girl in 9th grade who rescued me from some bullies. I was being bullied by 5 other kids. I had just broken a leg a week before and therefore could not run away or fight to my full abilities. Ordinarily I could (and often did) beat their asses but due to the leg I could only hold them off. She was able to step in and held her own very well against them. Everyday after that she went everywhere I went until I healed. I did not admit my crush to her because she actually intimidated me a bit since I could tell she was more skilled at martial arts than me. However, she found out about my crush on her by talking to one of my friends. She and I were talking and she just straight up said she liked me. We dated for a little bit but she had to move due to her father moving to another duty station (we were both military dependents). We still keep in touch and she is one of my best friends, but we decided not to continue the relationship when we did get back together.

One type of gal I'm attracted to are high achievers. My high school crush was about my height (5'10"), beautiful, thin, athletic, ran cross country and track and set the school record for the 3200m dash. She got all As and was a valedictorian. I saw on social media that she went to medical school. While in medical school, then-senator Barack Obama came to the university while he was campaigning for president and had a discussion with a panel of med students and she was on that panel. She posted a pic to social media of her talking to Obama while on the panel. I saw on social media that she then doing went to Dartmouth and then Columbia University (she was probably doing residency there or medical internships). Now I think she's a practicing gynecologist in Manhattan.
