Is it too much to ask to take a girl out for more than just a dinner date?

Are you talking about first date, or any date?

Cause it sounds like fun - just.. I would never get on a boat alone with a guy on a first date, that's how you get murdered.

For a first date, personally, I prefer something low-key casual, like a walk in a park or something.

I would only do dinner dates if I'm in a relationship.

No I usually wait until the 3rd date to ask about a boat ride or go on the side by side at the offroad park.

So I haven't heard from her in two weeks. Two Saturdays ago we went out to eat at a Cafe and she said she wanted to go on my boat the last Saturday and she ghosted me. So today 10 minutes after I posted this question she texts back. This is what I deal with and it's a common trend with just about every girl I date.
