There is a difference between nice guys and "nice guys" please note the quotations here. The latter are manipulative guys who pretend to be nice but carry ulterior motives in their hearts but blatantly pretend to be something else. Women, and especially attractive women who have options instinctively know this and use these guys to the hilt and then discard them. The nice guy, note absence of quotation, are guys who are genuinely pleasant but maintain their boundaries and are unwilling to bend to or for women.

Yes. It's something I've recommended to guys that were worried about getting their car keyed or damaged. When you are truly nice, they will run so far they won't have any thoughts about bothering to key your car because they won't care.

The whole "nice guy" thing is completely different from a genuinely nice dude. When women say they hate "nice guys", we're talking about entitled guys who act then nice and expect gratification (typically want sex or a relationship) just because they were nice.
