What time is it where you’re at? It’s 1:30pm here and some people have f’d up sleep schedules as well as work/school schedules, and may find it difficult to respond. There could be many factors to consider.


However, when did you plan the next date? is it soon?


You should wait, but text back the next day and add a follow up… I’m not sure what exactly you texted her, but maybe you could ask her what days/times work for her? Or when she’s available? Or what she would like to do on the date?

Glad you brought up ADHD and dating/date planning. It can be difficult for many people. As well as anxiety.

Nice to see you again. I've dated an adhd partner and planning dates could be like pulling teeth some time. I never got mad but the amount of cancellations felt soul crushing as a collective. Didn't stop trying but I did try less 😅. Shoot, I'm still willing to try.

But yeah I brought it up because no one really teaches you how to date someone with adhd and I doubt people teach adhders how to date either.

Totally, lol. I have ADHD and anxiety, and my partner has ADHD so it’s hell at times, and it can make you discouraged but patience goes a long way… Gentle reminders is a good way to get someone back on track.

Its something you learn as you grow older and start to experience it. It should be taught but I guess it’s a part of basic socialization lol.
