In my eyes you did indeed a toxic thing and a total red flag and no-go, but that is just me because I am the kind of person that likes to be honest and straight forward.

Obviously, you gave the signal that you are the kind of person that meets others just to fornicate. If you are fine with it, then why not as long as you inform the target persons about it.

I guess it depends on the individuals involved. I never understood why rebounds are a bad thing, I had a rebound that led to a 2 year relationship.
If you aren't looking for a relationship I guess maybe some rebounders could be too clingy because they're used to having a partner, or maybe they're not over her?
