We both frequent the same park so I see her in passing once a week or so. Today we chatted a little bit for the first time (other than passing hellos) and exchanged names. Part of me wanted to ask her for coffee/give her my number but I didn't do it.

I'm hoping to see her again soon and build from the name exchange.

Ladies how do you feel about this approach? I don't want to go too fast, but I also don't want to be indecisive. In the past I've given strangers my number and had some success... Part of me feels like building some rapport first may be a better move. More foundation for someone I really know nothing about.

Any advice welcome! I'm not interested in hooking up but dating and potentially a relationship.
