If that’s literally the only reason you won’t date them, then yes. Like say this person is a great person that you get on with really well but won’t date them simply for having body art, that’s pretty shallow. But you’re free to make that choice.

I think the kind of tattoos someone has, where they have them, etc. can tell you about their personality. A lot of people assume that they have a bad life situation, like they're a thug or something. Maybe it's that, or maybe they live normally and are just very artistic. Just don't judge too hard I'd say.

I've found that once girls find out about my tattoos no matter how well the first few dates were they bail on me. A few times we had beach dates and my tattoos are pretty visible in a tank top, so when I went to pick them up they suddenly were busy

I absolutely love tattoos but I said no because I think it's just a preference, I've had someone not date me because of my piercings and honestly wasn't really offended because I like them.
