Honest, loyal, intelligent, cares as much about me as I do about her, is nice to old people and kids, knows how to keep herself safe and out of trouble, doesn't make poor life decisions, is not self-destructive, is smart enough to have never been addicted to hard drugs, values good people and sees their worth beyond looks, image, material wealth or status, is mentally stable, can control her anger, likes driving around with me to find new restaurants or explore old buildings, likes camping and outdoorsy type stuff, is strong willed, hard headed, doesn't give up easily, values herself, doesn't mind me not being religious, likes classic cars, can appreciate a wide variety of music, can tolerate a stubborn man who is built like a tree stump like me, is not emotionally unavailable, and... wants to live in a house out in the woods with me and tell the rest of the world to piss off (except friends and family).
My friend actually told me once that my standards in women are higher than a yeti on top of Mount Everest hahaha

Mostly one where we get along always, even when it's tough, and can have fun together all the time. It's a compatibility thing in my case so I never conceived of an ideal upfront. My wife's as close to that ideal as I've found and I can try to list her qualities but it's more that we're just so compatible with each other.

Some key qualities I do find helping in my case are that she's fun and adventurous, outgoing, independent, and mature where it most counts most to maintain healthy communication and relationships.

When it comes to looks, I find a wide range of women attractive but the function of looks to me is to indicate health and to communicate. So it's a plus to me if she's at least reasonably healthy (I want her to live a very long time and join me in outdoorsy activities like sports) and has an expressive face and body language which helps me to better understand how she thinks and feels.
