How do I talk to this girl without coming off as either creepy or needy?

Basically, I used to work with a girl who got recently fired but we used to be good friends until I told her I liked her back in December... We stopped talking for a few months and recently started talking again and although she doesn't work for the same company anymore... I still have feelings for her which I assume she knows... I don't want to always be texting her saying "Hey, How are you doing" because I know it'll just get repetitive and the conversation will go nowhere

Don't second-guess yourself so much. Just do what you want to do. And ask her to hang out. Do stuff. Convo don't get repetitive if you're doing stuff together, laughing together.
