when is it appropriate to use the word dating? How many dates do you go on before you can say you two are dating

You can say you’re dating that person after the first date is scheduled

You can say you’re dating them after 1date

You can say you’re dating them after at least 2 dates

You can say you’re dating them after at least 3 dates

You can say you’re dating after you two have the exclusivity talk

You can say you’re dating after you become boyfriend and girlfriend

You can say you're dating after the first date if you have agreed to another date.

Dating doesn't have to be all that serious. It just means that you like each other enough to go dates.

When you start dating each other exclusively you know you are serious about being boyfriend-girlfriend.

Ideally when you both agree. "So are we dating now?" "Yeah!". Alternatively I think it is technically dating at the second date if interest in more has been established. The first being more of a hello than an actual established connection.
