This guy acted as though he liked me but told me he didn't feel the same way. One of our mutual friends told me, 'it must be tough that he won't open up to you directly' after telling me that he admitted that he does care about me. This friend also told me that this situation isn't the same as his own with another girl (he basically told her how he felt and she didn't like him back). He also started saying to me, 'it's not that he doesn't lov-' and then stoped himself and changed the word.
