Is he lying to me or am I overthinking about the matter?

He did not read my message for 24 hours, and then when I texted him that he shouldn't have ghosted me that's a cowardly act, he apologized and said that he didn't ghost me, he was caught up with some work and some family drama.. If feel he's lying.. Is it true that he's lying?

He's lying to you for sure!
I lived with a compulsive liar and knew him for 7 years. I know a lie when I hear it.
Once he starts lying he's more than likely cheating on you then lying about that.
The trouble with liars us they get really good at it. They lie to cover the original lie.
It will always be that way, which is not fair to you.
Their lying to you so much can actually make you very sick. Did you know that? You start getting anxiety because you just want him there with you and not lie. But that is a fairytale.

You know you should break up with him, but I won't tell you to do that. It has to come from you.

It will come to an end one day. Why not now and save yourself from the misery of that kind of guy?
