What does it mean when a guy wanted you to rub and scratch his back while he is lying down?

This went on for 2 hours or so… he let me rub his back and run my fingers through his hair. I guess my overthinking brain is trying not to think deeper but it is.. this guy is all I want but I’m trying to be patient.. so what does it mean when they guy knows how you feel and has known and still wants you to do that? I find it more intimate than more physical things can be.

I enjoy that too. I find it to be bond forming. Actually, it often leads to other things... I don't know why-it's special though.
