Is it a problem that I'm mostly attracted to men 20-35 years older than me (and don't think guys my age are attractive)?

It's not a problem, it's just a preference. There are advantages and disadvantages to having a significantly older partner. The obvious disadvantage is that they are likely to predecease you by many years.

There are plenty of 40-something men who would be happy to date a woman in her early 20's. If you meet someone you are interested in, you are probably going to have to make your interest known. Older men are reluctant to make advances to much younger women for fear they won't be welcome.

Maybe I should find one who is really healthy/in shape. That way him getting older won't be so bad for the relationship

Of course you should, regardless of their age. Young people with unhealthy habits can die at a relatively young age.

At least at first it probably won't be a problem to men 20-35 years older than you - pretty much all men love a firm ass to bounce off of. But that kind of age gap tends to cause other problems long term, notably as you become more secure and start wanting to start your life, your older mate will be wanting to finish up theirs. Or not wanting to, but rather needing to. It could get frustrating for both of you.

It would only be a problem if you couldn't get a boyfriend in that age group, but as we all know there are tons of men in that age cohort who would love to date you. At this stage in your life, I wouldn't worry about it. Older guys do appreciate young women more than younger ones do.

no. wouldn't blame you, a lot of young guys (including me when I was that age)... they just aren't ready yet, so are a waste of time. Some are, some aren't. Note, also true of some older guys, but odds get better as guys mature. trying to raise an 18yr old male boyfriend... is a very hard job.

Just be aware if it’s the guy after you because of your age and not because of who you are.

The important thing is being compatible irrespective of age etc.

Being able to mentally and emotionally connect is important.

Sometimes I think they're too immature and just not interested in real commitment. They often just want to get in my pants (and often only care about their own needs when they do).
Also, I just find older men way sexier. For a long time I've been kind of trying to ignore that as maybe age gaps could be an issue. However, there's no denying I just find much older men way more sexually/physically appealing. I'm not sure why, but I just do

what matters is... that you find someone that is good to you and with you, if you're happy with them, then the age should not matter much

I want to think that although you're younger... you're also more mature and smarter and balanced,... and maybe you also want someone that is more like that
