I chose option A without a second's hesitation.

At my age, that is about the only thing that counts in my life, besides my family and my health of course.

There is absolutely no room for dating in my life because I do prioritize my education. This will remain as is for the next decade or so.

Dating and studying are not compatible because you cannot concentrate fully on both. It is either the one or the other and I have made my choice. Furthermore, my education has priority because my degree will allow me to live the life I chose. If I go for dating, I ruin my education and I risk to jeopardize my health as well.

Truthfully, I was never much of a career guy. I had a pretty good career but just looked at it as a way to make money. I was more interested in dating and after I got married I was more interested in my wife and kids.
