Would you rather someone tell you the truth about not wanting to date you again?

Would you rather someone tell you upfront that they didn't want to see you again and tell you the honest reason why?

Or would you rather they just didn't arrange to see you again, so you take the hint?

This question came to mind after a work colleague said she would rather a guy didn't bother getting back in touch if he didn't want to see her again. Just wondered how other people thought

Exactly. Me too. Not to be rude about it. Nothing wrong with either person just sometimes things aren't meant to be. You date to see who you're compatible with as well as since we all have our own standards.

Which is why we date. If we don't meet each others standards then you just simply say hey... I don't think this is working out

I mean if two people just don't arrange to see each other again then that is one thing. If someone tries to go on a second date then... You better just say that you don't want to

I personally prefer honesty because I like closure and appreciate straightforwardness when it comes to this kind of thing.


But, I’m also very chill and take rejection and constructive criticism quite well because I don’t enjoy drama. I know how to let go, move on, and learn from my mistakes.
