Would you date a woman more successful than you?

Lets say that you have a wonderful, kind, sweet , down to earth woman who makes way more money and is of a much higher status than you. She doesn't mind dating poor men because she believes its the person than counts, not the money. She gets all the respect from others but you don't. She gets all the center light while you don't. She gets all the fame but you don't. she's not even the most physically attractive woman on earth but she is very well loved and adored by everyone around her.

No. Because I am a traditional man and for me to be traditional requires me to be the main earner. Also from what I've seen, women who date/marry down almost always are doing it because the guys they really want aren't interested but she spins it into her being a saint doing charity work.

From my POV a guy should be motivated/ambitious/hard working enough to achieve stuff and it'd be unnatural for him to be with a woman who has more drive than he does.

And even guys who aren't traditional -- are starting to see -- that all of these modern women still expect the guy to be traditional in many ways so even if she's making 20 million/year, she expects the guy to use his money to buy them a nice meal, give her gifts, pay for a vacation and so on. And if he can't or does not that's just fuel for her hate/anger. To guys foolish enough to get into that situation: Good luck with that.

And its not a good thing, id still be comparing her to any waitress for example, her income means nothing in terms of dating. So if some waitress i liked just as much was a tiny bit hotter and a few years younger id prefer the waitress.

Very rare. 99%+ women date across and above unless the guy is very attractive. Only men date girls who are well below their income level. But when they do date someone who is below her who isn’t extremely attractive, it’s because that guy has something extremely valuable she likes, whether it be good attractive personality or something else. Could be great sex or she is desperate.
