I don't believe that someone could possibly be superior to someone on all levels. Every one has their own strengths and weaknesses. That being said, I prefer to look at the situation as an opportunity for both parties to learn from their SO in the fields that they may be lacking in while also contributing in teaching their SO in the fields that they excel at.

Hmm, it depends. I'm competitive, so being with someone that's better than I am would push me to want to better myself!

As long as he's not arrogant or condescending about it, it wouldn't intimidate me too much.

Well, if I actually liked them I probably wouldn't pay attention to it.. As long as they don't make themselves seem superior because of it (at least seriously) Although that would be a pretty talented person.. XD

Sure, i am not intimidated by competence. If she loves me then that would be fine, it would make me feel a little less secure but ultimately i'd just learn a lot from her.

I don't see why not. Actually i don't believe that someone being better than you at everything is even possible. Everyone has different abilities that they are better than other people at. Therefore it makes it impossible for someone to be better at everything than someone else.
