What has been you experience with dating apps past or present?

Did any of the apps work well for you? Did none of them work? Who were the people you tended to match with?

Used them for years, met 3 of which only 2 lasted longer than a first date but still didn't last long. I don't know why it took me so long to realize it but those women are the absolute worst women on the planet to date. Any girl who's absorbed in social media and full of herself is not going to make a good partner. That's why I'll stick to the ones not on dating apps from now on I finally learned my lesson.

I tried Match, OKCupid, PoF. Only actually met people in person from Match, resulting in probably 6-10 first dates over time. Nothing terrible happened, nothing very interesting either. Don't know if I'll bother again as they are overpriced for actually contacting people.

It is catalogue shopping, I hated it, people were boring, same questions from everyone, and it felt very transactional. Also, all men, apart from one, wanted a fling, frequently they would have been willing to get into the car immediately.
The one who wanted more turned out to be a practising druid and antivaxxer.
That's when I deleted the app and swore "NEVER AGAIN"

Mixed bag. Bumble worked well for me. I met older women online than I did IRL.
