Getting to know you after dating?

I have been dating this lady (we are both ~30 years old) around 3 months and we had around 15 dates spending few hours together in each case. She suddenly withdrew herself and now told me that she does not want a relationship, wants to stay friends and get to know me better. What does this mean?

Maybe it has something to do with the level of intimacy - or speed thereof.

Well I respected her and was proceeding pretty slow without the pressure for physical intimacy and trying to talk and communicate more.

Why would you say that without knowing me? She completely ceased contact after that and I did not feel to follow up.

Come on, you must have done something that ticked her off. They all use the "just want to be friends" excuse instead of telling you the real reason.

Well, I fully respected her boundaries and tried to come up with new activities both of us can enjoy. I did not pressure her to anything, but she did not respond to anything. Most likely reason seems to me that she found another dude.

A weird way to put it though. I thought I must have screwed up somewhere.
