Guy I'm dating goes quiet/silent treatment on me?

I have noticed if I don't have the same opinion/want to do the same as he does, he will go quiet on me. Both by not messaging me for a long time and also in real life. He has sat there before next to me, ignoring me, go silent and stare out of the window/at the tv and ignore me if we disagree on something. What is this about? Is it a reg flag/manipulation?

Honestly girl, you need to let this guy go. He is stonewalling you and acting like a child when he doesn't get his way. It sounds like this is a new situation too, so it's only going to get worse!

You could try talking to him, but I doubt that's really going to change. I think he has a lot of growing to do and a lot of inner work to do. Also, he seems very immature.

Thank you, yes it's quite new. Met on a dating site. I also feel it may get worse. I do really like him and parts of his personality so It's hard to let go :-(

You have to figure out if he's worth it. If 90% of the time he's great, but 10% of the time he acts like this, then it might be something you can live with. But if he's like this more often than not, then set him free. You need to weigh the pros and cons, but obviously he's not great at communicating, and communication is one of the key foundations to a healthy relationship.
