Should I stop texting a man that doesn’t text me first, I I feel like I am being annoying and I don’t like that feeling. what should I do?

Trust me, you ARE being annoying. Don't start looking for little things to write a guy off completely. If you really want to know if this guy likes you stop texting him for a few days and see if he reaches out, if he does then he likes you, then you have to suggest that he meets you somewhere for food, drinks, movie, walk whatever and go from there. I'm so disappointed when I see posts on here about texting and all the expectations that comes with it and demands as well the whole tit for tat and left on read shit. You really should stop texting if you hardly get any messages at all from him but not just because he didn't text you first.

I hardly text the person, I don’t text people all day. Half the time my phone is on sleep or do not disturb. I am busy just like everyone else.

I'd feel the same if I was the one always initiating contact. I'd feel as though he was only responding out of politness.

The only way you'll know for sure is if you stop initiating contact. If he cares he'll notice, and be worried. If he doesn't, then he won't bother messaging you.
It does suck. It's an awful feeling.

If he only responds with short responses or suddenly starts taking longer to respond then back off a bit. Only once has a women I was interested gone to far. She wanted every. spare. second of my time and then she wanted all of my time. I'd tell her I really need to get some work done and that I'll message her later. 3 hours later I checked my phone and had 15 texts from her. That was too much. She was freaking out that I wasn't responding even though I told her I was busy and had to put the phone down. Honesty it was exhausting.

I am not like that, I don’t blow up people phones. And half of the time when I get a text, I don’t text back right away. I don’t like annoying people. If they don’t text back oh well.
