I told a guy that I don’t like texting. Now he’s not texting me first at all. Why?

Why don't you just say what you mean? If you want him to start calling instead, just ask that of him? Why are you giving him a riddle to solve? He might have the impression that you think he is texting you too much so he is holding off. Maybe he's interpreted that you don't like texting to mean stop sending texts so much. It also depends on the way you've said it to him. He could be backing off.

We’ve mainly communicated on whatsapp. One time he sent me a text 1pm. I replied to him almost 12h later. Then he replied to that message almost 2 days later saying sorry I didn’t get push notification and didn’t check whatsapp ( I feel like he just got mad and wanted to get back at me or something)

Then another time he left my text on delivered for 6 days after it took me 23 hours to open his text.

He probably saw that I was online on whatsapp when I didn’t open his message (his message wasn’t a question and didn’t require a reply). I open it and replied to him after 11pm when I got home.

Do you think he’s mad about that and got his feelings hurt?
