I like the fact that there are not many lazy people that go to Health Clubs other than the usually over weight ones that show up for a day or two right after New Years day and then you never see them again... lol

I was getting hit on at the gym all too often Laurie.. I have a girlfriend and they all knew it, but would scream across the room or come over whilst I'm working out and try teasing me, asking me if I'm still with her would I shag them anyway.. etc etc... I always laughed but told them no thank you ladies, I AM still happily in a relationship...

It got too much so I bought a treadmill, I already had weights, bench and a ceiling suspended boxing heavy bag. Electronic Cycle and other bits.

I do all my training at home now with no distractions.. Much easier to get a full workout in.

I know it's not my usual quick witted quip, but when it involves workouts? I take those seriously

I go to the gym, headphones in, focus, i work out, clean the machines after use, and when am all done, i leave. No contact, i don't care who is there and thank god! THANK GOD my gym is empty like 90% of the time. Am not there to mingle

@exitseven So i have been told. I live in a small town and the gym has old equipment and it's not modern at all. It's clean and at times it can be crowded but nothing crazy like you are experiencing

The gym is just an equivalent to the bar or clubs for a lot of people. The chance of me dating or hooking up with a woman in the gym is 0%. I'm only there to workout and reinforce my discipline for myself. If I do get to know people there, it'll only be for friends or possible jobs if they're looking.

Didn't meet my girl at the gym, Laurie. To my knowledge women want to be left the fuck alone at the gym and very rarely want to be approached there.

All I will say is some women act sus although I give them benefit of a doubt. One can only do so many exercises before a woman decides to be in your immediate vicinity while you are trying to kill it. Usually it happened at the squat racks or the cardio where some women seemed to be in the same spot I was at.

No. Every time I tried in the gym, they seemed like they're in a rush to either head out or do their workout. I don't feel like the gym is a good place to try to approach women from my experience.
