Im starting to wonder if I missed my chance having kids now that I'm turning 30 and still single should I just focus on my career instead?

Hey look if you really want kids don't give up you still have time and there are options for couples who have kids later in life. But, start implementing changes to better yourself and putting yourself out there. Like I said you have time but you should dedicate time now to date seriously and search for the kind of guy you are looking for.

Now only you know the true answer deep in your heart but from this post it does sound like you want kids. 30 is still a young age if you have any education at this point or are currently working to further your education use some of your down time to seek out and date for potential partners.

Remember many people either return to school or do a career change or even go to school part time to advance or change their career at a variety of ages. But, for having kids a bit more so for women there is a window of time that one has. Unless adoption is on the table but it sounds like you want to have kids of your own.

Well that is great to hear! Meeting someone through your sibling and/or friend is a nice avenue to go through. Sounds like you like him and maybe he likes you as well. Take your time feel it out be honest with your feelings and with him; find out how he feels too. If things get more serious inquire about his thoughts on the future and kids. Are you dating anyone or anyone in the picture? It becomes more difficult after 30, but GRADULALLY! Meaning you still have time. It increases after 35, and then significantly after 40. So you still have lots of time in my opinion. But it doesn't hurt you to focus on your career either. But, in this "time table", don't make the mistake of picking the wrong guy, or one you truly won't be happy with (as women often make this mistake).

Better make it the top priority if you want it to happen. Lower you silly standards like how hot or rich a man must be. All those hot rich guys can get tons of girls and won't commit to you at age 30 anymore so that ships sailed. Whatever you're used to step down one or two notches in terms of finding a man who will stick around and make kids with you. The sooner you get realistic the less you will have to compromise. So better at 30 than at 32.

You still have a while before you are too old , but the clock is ticking. We had all our kids before we were 30 but we were usually the youngest parents in the room at school functions.

I don't think you are too old, some people become parents in their 40's as long as you haven't gone through your change then you are still good.
