Why would a guy wait so long to see you in person?

I met a guy in person and since then we talked and sexted a lot but he has not let me come see him or him come see me. He swears up and down we are a couple and he’s with me and wants me to be his wife, but I’m like why are you taking so long for us to be together? He owns his own business and he wants to make sure he is all caught up on that stuff before we get together. He has a mechanic shop and he’s a car dealer. He is 10 years older than me. Do you think he could have a double life? I’m kind of nervous about this. He shows me he does live alone, but I’m not 100 percent sure. I do trust him, but the waiting has me skeptical. What do you guys think? Is he cheating or have another life?
