Stuck in a situation please help?

Hi guys I’m in a position where i have been seeing this person for a 1.5 years met at a summer camp where we almost treat each other as a partner but never discussed what we actually are no commitment etc, i enjoy the company and although my feelings are not as strong it has been v healthy heading towards the direction of a relationship. Recently came across a girl which i could tell has been showing lots of interest but never gave it back and seems like i would fancy my chances rather then constantly think about what if etc. What do you guys think am i foolish to do this or not?
