Since you placed your question under the "Dating" topic, I presume you want to know if people have better opinions of potential dating candidates when those people are doing volunteer work.

Personally, I don't think that would impact my choice because I don't go to events to find a date and therefore, whether this person is a volunteer or not does not change my perception of that person.

I may find it nice that he spends his time volunteering but that is not in relation to the feelings I have for a person. It takes more than just a good deed in life to impress me.
