Girls, Would you think less of a guy if he was in this class with you?

I joined a martial arts class not knowing it was mostly women in class. It’s a self defense based martial art class which means they focus a lot on groin shots.

the women in class don’t seem to feel bad practicing groin shots on me. I’m wearing a cup but a hard hit there still take me down

None of the studios I have belonged to have allow (ed) groin shots. We have lots of happy men in classes.

Have you heard of koi karate? Groin shots suck but a solid one works on women too. They generally don’t wear padding either

I don’t think that was me. I’ve only been doing this class 2 weeks. The only other martial arts I’ve done in bjj

What made you pick Koi Karate?

There’s a girl in my college class that does it that I have a crush on. She invited me to come for a week of free classes

That is the same story the other guy gave me. How weird.

Hope it’s working out better for him. I don’t think she likes me. She’s definitely not treating me very well in class

She said I’m too slow at defending myself and that I have to be able to absorb some blows. It just seems that if she liked me she wouldn’t try to hit me in the cup so hard

You’ve only been there two weeks? Takes three to adjust to martial arts body conditioning. You’ll get better.

I’ve only been to 4 classes. I’ve done Jujitsu for a few years so this isn’t brand new to me
